Benefits Information for Producers and Performers
Coverage is provided after the submission of medical proof of Temporary Total Disability due to Injury from a qualifying accident on set. Benefit Payment: 70% of eligible earnings over the past 24 months. Benefit Eligibility: From the date of the accident. Once a claim has been approved, payment will be made every two weeks upon receipt, as required, of satisfactory medical proof of continuing Temporary Total Disability. Maximum Benefit: Up to $2,000 per week, except additional background performers and the parent/guardian of a minor child where the maximum benefit is up to $500.00 per week. Taxable Status: Benefit payments are taxable. Maximum Benefit Period: Five years.
